The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine welcomed the statement issued by the Egyptian-Jordanian-French tripartite summit, hosted by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. It viewed it as a valid roadmap for ending the war of genocide in the Gaza Strip, with its killing and starvation, and for ending the war of ethnic cleansing, population displacement, destruction of housing, confiscation and plunder of land in the West Bank, and the encroachment on the occupied city of Jerusalem.
The Democratic Front called for drawing up practical steps to translate the tripartite roadmap adopted by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, King Abdullah II, and President Emmanuel Macron, using the capabilities these three countries possess at the Arab, European, and international levels, to transform calls to stop Israeli hostilities and resume work on the “Doha Agreement,” which would lead to an exchange of prisoners, a ceasefire, and a complete Israeli withdrawal from every inch of the Gaza Strip, launching the necessary rescue and recovery operations, and beginning to provide the required conditions to launch the reconstruction workshop, in a way that strengthens the presence of our people on their land and their steadfastness in it, and aborting all projects of change under any name.
