  • We call for decisive action from the international community to stop the tragedy of our people in Gaza and to halt the Israeli colonial aggression in the West Bank

An official source in the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine made the following statement:
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine welcomes the statement of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, in which he announced that the American and Iranian sides had reached an agreement to stop the war in the region, including in Lebanon. It considered this a very important step that would put an end to an aggressive American-Israeli war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which contributed to igniting the fires in the region, and inflicted heavy losses on its peoples in lives and properties, disrupted the wheel of growth and development in the region, and provided an opportunity for the fascist Israeli government to escalate its acts of aggression against our Arab peoples in Palestine, Lebanon and Syria.
The Democratic Front stressed the importance of implementing the agreement reached between the Iranian and American sides, and drawing lessons from the war, including calling for the removal of foreign bases and fleets from our Arab region, whose presence has been a source of danger to the peoples of the region and their security and stability.
In the same context, the Democratic Front called on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, the mediators, and the parties guaranteeing the Gaza agreement, to intervene effectively to help our people in the Gaza Strip move towards stability and recovery, and to begin reconstruction. This requires a complete cessation of Israeli hostilities, the continuation of the Israeli withdrawal to the border separating the Gaza Strip from the Israeli settlements, the immediate entry of the National Committee for the Administration of the Gaza Strip to assume its responsibilities alongside and in cooperation with civil society institutions in the Strip, and the flow of unconditional aid to the Strip, in order to rebuild the infrastructure systems of water, sanitation, health, hospitalization, education, and decent housing for those whose homes were destroyed by the war of extermination, and to launch the production process and provide job opportunities and sources of decent living.
The Democratic Front also calls for an active role for the international community in stopping the brutal Israeli attack against our people in the Gaza Strip, including stopping the killing on suspicion, mass arrests, land confiscation and settlement expansion, stopping all forms of annexation, stopping the demolition of homes and industrial and agricultural facilities, dismantling the military bases that the occupation forces have begun to plant throughout the West Bank in Area (A) near cities and camps, removing the barriers that have led to the fragmentation of the West Bank and its transformation into scattered islands, and paying the clearance funds to the Palestinian Authority, which would provide an opportunity to revive the Palestinian economy that is threatened with death in light of the suffocating siege to which the West Bank is subjected.
In conclusion, the Democratic Front stressed that peace, tranquility, and security will not be fully and firmly established for the region and its peoples as long as the occupying state continues its aggressive colonial policies in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Syria, and as long as its leadership continues to threaten the interests of the region›s peoples with its aggressive statements against adherence to international legitimacy resolutions and the principles of international law and international humanitarian law.
