The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine described the talk by Israeli-American circles about establishing 16 additional bases in the Gaza Strip for the American-Israeli food distribution company as a hellish step to add new bases to prey on innocent, starving people, and a consecration of the «death for bread» policy pursued by the Israeli-American alliance, and the claim of fighting famine.
The Democratic Front also described the policy of depriving food from space as a failure, both in terms of its ability to provide sufficient relief to the starving and in terms of preserving the dignity of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Their complaints have reached the heavens, calling for an end to this deliberate humiliation.
The Democratic Front affirmed that all these methods are merely an expression of the inability of the relevant parties to pressure the Israeli side to open the crossings wide, to allow the entry of unconditional aid and for it to reach those who deserve it, through the United Nations institutions, the Agencies, and international organizations, foremost among them UNRWA, which has become a source of trust for our people due to its wealth of experience in such circumstances.
The Democratic Front wondered about the reasons for the absence of the Arab Ministerial Political Committee, of which Palestine is a member, from the starvation and mass killing taking place in the Gaza Strip, and about the reasons for its failure to act and assume its political responsibilities, and to do what the Arab-Islamic Summit Conference charged it with, to break the siege imposed on our people in the Gaza Strip, and why it stopped moving to achieve this great humanitarian goal.
