The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine called on the countries and peoples of the region, especially the Arab countries, to support the Western movement, to support and back our people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, and in its political movement to hold the occupying state accountable for its crimes, and to call on it to stop killing civilians, cease fire, allow the entry of aid without conditions, and not interfere in its distribution to the residents of the Strip, who are now in danger of dying of starvation and have become targets for the Israeli killing machine with fire.
The Democratic Front called on Arab regimes to give credibility in their actions and behavior to their stance at the recent summit, and to consider the Palestinian cause the Arabs› primary cause. This is especially true given that Arab capitals possess the elements of power that qualify them for effective and influential intervention and to seize the keys to the movement, should the political will to do so be present.
The Democratic Front also called on all Arab peoples to show their solidarity with our people and stand by them, and to call on their governments and parliaments to take the necessary steps, at the regional and international levels, particularly at the United Nations, to halt the widespread massacre in the Gaza Strip and put an end to the wave of famine threatening thousands of children, infants, the elderly, the sick, and pregnant women.
The Democratic Front stressed that our people, despite all their suffering, are determined to stand firm, steadfast, and strengthen their resistance, and to thwart Benjamin Netanyahu›s project aimed at displacing the residents of the Gaza Strip and annexing it to the Zionist colonial project.
