The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine issued a statement welcoming the political dynamics witnessed in some Western countries to pressure Israel to halt its aggressive actions against our people in the Gaza Strip, through mass killing, starvation, deprivation of water, and denial of medical services.
The Democratic Front saluted Britain, France, Canada, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Iceland, Slovenia, and Luxembourg, which took decisions condemning the Israeli aggression and pressuring the fascist government to comply with international law, international humanitarian law, and relevant UN resolutions.
The Democratic Front called on the rest of the European Union countries to follow the example of their partners in the EU, thus strengthening international pressure, especially Western pressure, on Israel after the mass killings got out of hand, without any regard for world public opinion or international conventions, and the occupying state has blatantly overstepped its bounds, as if the hundreds of martyrs and wounded at the hands of the occupation forces have become a daily phenomenon that the international community must live with.
The Democratic Front said that the steps taken by the Western countries mentioned above would not have been achieved without the heroic steadfastness of our people and their valiant resistance in the Gaza Strip, which had a wide echo in the capitals of the West, starting from Washington and reaching the farthest point, during which major marches were witnessed in which millions of free people participated, supporting their governments and parliaments to isolate Israel, as a rogue state, which proved in a tangible and blatant manner that Zionism is a racist, fascist movement that does not value human values whatsoever, in order to achieve its colonial ambitions.
