DFLP: Condemns the continued closure of the Gaza Strip crossings and the deprivation of electricity

Mar 11, 2025

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemned the continued closure of the Gaza Strip crossings and the deprivation of its residents of their right to food, water, health and energy, especially in a month that carries meanings to the world and promotes human values, requiring peoples to communicate, cooperate and reject differences.
The Democratic Front added: The occupation state’s imposition of a suffocating siege on the Gaza Strip, including cutting off electricity lines to desalination stations, highlights the extent to which the Netanyahu government goes in its fascism and contempt for humanity, and its readiness to commit war crimes, for the sake of goals that all of humanity has condemned, and considered them war crimes, a war of genocide, and barbaric and fascist behavior.
The Democratic Front said: The fascist occupation state is deluded if it believes for a single moment that its aggressive measures against our people in the Gaza Strip will achieve its despicable goals, and that the legendary steadfastness of our people and our resistance for a long period exceeding 16 months should constitute a lesson for the occupation state. It must understand its meanings and admit its failure to achieve its goals, and that its only possible option is to submit to what was signed in Doha, which requires the implementation of the prisoner exchange plan, the complete Israeli withdrawal from every inch of the Gaza Strip, and stopping the promotion of displacement scenarios, similar to what the Minister of Finance, Settlement, Annexation and Displacement, Smotrich, is doing. The right of our people to a free and dignified life on the land of their state in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, the capital of the state, is a fixed and sacred right that will not be cancelled by Netanyahu’s wars or Smotrich’s hallucinations.
