Ladies and Gentlemen,
To the global political, party, and civil institutions and organizations,
Greetings from Palestine — bleeding from killing, destruction, and displacement at the hands of Israeli fascism, supported by the United States and Western and NATO powers. We write to you from the “Department of External Relations of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine”, as part of our ongoing efforts to follow and address the Israeli war of extermination against the Palestinian people. We do so with confidence in your continued actions supporting our people, expressing solidarity with our national rights, and rejecting Israeli crimes.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
The ongoing war of extermination committed by the fascist Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people cannot be viewed as a passing military event or as a mere security response to a threat. Rather, it is a clear manifestation of a colonial plan aimed at eliminating the Palestinian cause existentially and politically. The facts and developments revealed daily highlight and confirm the brutality of the occupation as it seeks to reshape the political geography of the region, exploiting the unprecedented state of international paralysis and complicity to impose the reality of “Greater Israel” by force and fire.
The leader of Israeli fascism, Benjamin Netanyahu, has explicitly declared that the objective of his aggression is to “change the face of the Middle East.” In doing so, he relies on a clear surplus of power. His message is not directed solely at the Israeli public, but effectively announces the beginning of a new era characterized by the erosion of state sovereignty and the rights of peoples to self-determination. He seeks to impose this reality through killing and destruction, as is occurring in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Iran, benefiting from absolute American support, which he openly boasts about in order to circumvent international conventions and use them as tools to impose dependency on neighboring states, integrating the region into a security alliance led by Israel under the American umbrella.
The current military doctrine of the Israeli occupation has surpassed the boundaries of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Palestinian geography has become a launching point for subjugating the entire region. The aggression against the countries and peoples of the region reflects a clear desire to suppress any effort aimed at obstructing the American–Israeli expansionist project. While the occupation practices the most brutal forms of military repression, it claims to speak in the name of the region’s peoples, alleging that it works to assist them — a desperate attempt to invert reality and portray the colonial entity as a “beacon of democracy” in a hostile environment, while in reality it is the principal perpetrator and the primary source of regional instability.
What the war of extermination against the Gaza Strip has revealed is the incapacity of the entire international political, legal, and judicial system to restrain the Israeli war machine. This impunity has reduced international law to mere texts stored in the drawers of the United Nations and its institutions in the face of Israel’s colonial will. Military and political support from Washington and several European capitals has not merely provided cover for these crimes; it has effectively made these powers partners in the destruction of infrastructure, the targeting of civilians, and the seizure of land.
In the face of all this, peoples rise carrying the banner of resistance, and the insistence on the right to land and self-determination emerges as a fundamental obstacle to the success of the American–Israeli aggressive project. Yet attempts by the occupation to eliminate the national rights of the Palestinian people will inevitably fail, just as efforts to prevent the establishment of an independent Palestinian state — recognized by 159 countries — will only deepen the conflict. The fundamental rights of peoples do not expire with time, nor are they erased by mass massacres.
We, in the Department of External Relations of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, believe that what the world is witnessing today is a struggle over values — a struggle in which progressive forces that believe in equality among peoples and in their right to self-determination, free from policies of domination and dependency, must play a central and active role. Restoring the authority of international law and holding Israeli occupation leaders accountable is no longer merely a legal demand; it has become an urgent necessity to prevent the global order from sliding into a comprehensive “law of the jungle.” Protecting the right of Palestinians, in particular, to live with dignity on their independent land represents the last safeguard for protecting international peace and stability from collapse under renewed colonial ambitions.
