Department of External Relations of the Democratic Front: on Israel’s Exploitation of Global Attention on the Aggression Against Iran to Continue the War of Genocide in Gaza and the West Bank

Mar 23, 2026

To distinguished representatives of international political, party, and societal frameworks, Greetings from bleeding Palestine,
In light of the ongoing war of extermination that Israel continues to wage in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, we present to you this message to inform you of the latest developments, which revolve around three main points:

First: Targeting International Institutions
Israel continues to prevent humanitarian organizations from delivering relief services to our people in the Gaza Strip, in clear violation of the International Court of Justice’s ruling. This confirms that starvation has become a fundamental component of the war of extermination, reflecting the fascistic nature of the occupation’s practices. It also demonstrates Israel’s insistence on maintaining the blockade, depriving the population of basic necessities of life, including food and healthcare, and continuing the war of extermination in its various forms—especially after briefly opening the Rafah crossing for travelers and then closing it again without any justification.

Second: Institutionalizing the war of starvation and undermining international resolutions
The Israeli occupation seeks to exploit global attention being diverted by the U.S.-Israeli aggression against Iran, in order to push forward further unilateral measures that are internationally condemned, both in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank.
In Gaza, Israel has closed all crossings and prevented the entry of food, fuel, and medicine, raising the risk of an escalating humanitarian catastrophe and the return of famine, alongside continued bombardment and destruction of buildings—even in areas west of the so-called “yellow line”—as well as ongoing killings.
In the West Bank, including Jerusalem, escalation continues through the closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque, restrictions on movement between governorates, and repeated arrest campaigns and raids on cities, villages, and refugee camps, in addition to settler attacks and daily killings. The mistreatment of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons also continues.

Third: Imposing a “fait accompli” policy and obstructing national administration
Israel is working to entrench a policy of daily killing and starvation in the Gaza Strip as a fait accompli imposed on the Palestinian people, under the threat of returning to a large-scale destructive war. In this context, the occupation authorities are preventing the national committee tasked with administering the Gaza Strip from entering, in an attempt to impose a new reality in which Israel becomes the ultimate authority in defining the committee’s powers, instead of the agreed executive framework responsible for implementing previous understandings.
Accordingly, the position of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine calls on all concerned parties to act urgently to remove the obstacles preventing the national committee from entering the Gaza Strip, enabling it to carry out its duties in cooperation with international and local institutions, popular committees, and governmental bodies.
Although the fate of Israeli policies is failure due to the steadfastness of our people and their attachment to their land, responsibility lies with the international community and its institutions to exert pressure on the occupation government to halt its crimes. The danger of Israeli policies is not limited to the Palestinian cause but extends to the entire international system, by entrenching the logic of force and the law of the jungle, undermining the foundations of international law and the values of justice and human rights. This threatens the stability of international relations and calls for a unified international stance to confront this approach, isolate it, and hold it accountable
