DFLP: Netanyahu is playing with fire and beating the drums of war against the Palestinians and the countries of the region

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine described the statements made by the head of the Israeli fascism, Benjamin Netanyahu, on Tuesday as playing with fire and beating the drums of war once again, and expanding it against our people in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and the countries of the region. This confirms, once again, the falsity of his agreement to Trump’s plan regarding the Gaza Strip and the region, and that his pretense of commitment to Security Council Resolution 2803 and the list of twenty points is nothing but an attempt to gamble on time and on the possibility of thwarting the Gaza plan, in order to return once again to resuming the war of genocide against our people, in order to achieve what he calls absolute victory.
The Democratic Front stated: Netanyahu continues to try to impose his interpretations of the second phase of the Gaza plan, with conditions that place the first item on the agenda of this phase on the disarmament of the Palestinian people, either through Palestinian capitulation and surrender to Netanyahu›s threats, or through Israel resuming its barbaric war. The undeniable facts have proven the failure of the occupation army to achieve this goal, which has now become the focus of implementing the Trump plan, according to Netanyahu›s criteria.
The Democratic Front mocked Netanyahu’s statement that his army was unable to eliminate the resistance and disarm it due to a lack of sufficient weapons and ammunition, blaming former US President Biden, in an open praise of President Trump and an appeal to his arrogance, as well as a message requesting more weapons and ammunition in order to complete the disarmament and demilitarization of the Gaza Strip, to pave the way for Trump’s plan, as Netanyahu sees it.
The Democratic Front warned of the danger of Netanyahu’s intransigence in refusing to open the Rafah crossing for the flow of unconditional aid into the Gaza Strip, and his decision to limit movement to allowing those leaving (on foot) to travel through the crossing, and to restrict the movement of those returning to a minimum, so that the function of the crossing becomes opening the doors to displacement, especially in light of the suffering and harsh living conditions of our people, and their deprivation of aid, while they are in extremely harsh conditions.
The Democratic Front called for serious consideration of Netanyahu›s statements rejecting withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and his talk of a Greater Israel, from the river to the sea, as he put it.
The Democratic Front said: What Netanyahu said is not limited to his election propaganda, but what he says is the real plan of the Israeli colonial occupation, whose steps we are witnessing clearly in the West Bank, the latest of which is the massacre of removing more than 25 multi-story residential buildings in Kafr Aqab, on the road to “Jerusalem International Airport”, in order to establish a new settlement that reinforces the measures of siege and restriction on the Arab neighborhoods in Jerusalem, and separates them from their Palestinian surroundings.
The Democratic Front stressed the need to take Netanyahu›s statements seriously and not view them as mere tactical remarks, but rather as the true and actual plan of action for Israeli colonialism, which is being implemented gradually and through various methods. This requires the guarantor parties to take a clear stance on Netanyahu›s obstruction of the second phase of the Gaza plan. It also requires the Palestinian Authority›s political leadership and the Executive Committee to rise to the level of danger posed by Netanyahu›s policies, to abandon reliance on American promises, to free themselves from political illusions, and to cease ignoring what is happening in the West Bank and the colonial projects being implemented that threaten the fate of the Palestinian national project daily. Merely talking about it, while land and water are being plundered, is nothing but empty rhetoric
