The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine called on the eight Arab and Islamic countries that agreed to the Gaza agreement and the Trump plan to translate their positions, as stated in their recent statement, into practical steps that alleviate the suffering of all our people in the Gaza Strip.
The Democratic Front said: Despite all the talk and noise about stopping the war and the ceasefire, and about starting to form a peace council, a “Gaza government,” and a stabilization force, our people in the Strip have not yet felt these positives, and they are still living under the weight of death by being killed by the occupation forces, or dying from the cold, or drowning in rainwater, due to their lack of shelter that protects their families and dignity from the fluctuations and harshness of the climatic conditions, or to die under the rubble of houses and buildings that are about to collapse, due to their having to take refuge in them, after the winds and rains chased them and turned their lives into a tragedy.
The Democratic Front added: “The talk about moving to the second phase on the expected date of 15 / 1 / 2026 has become urgent for the parties guaranteeing the Sharm el-Sheikh agreement, along with the eight Arab and Islamic countries, and all friendly and brotherly countries of our people, to exert pressure to put an end to the tragic life that the Israeli fascist forces insist on imposing on our people, including obstructing work at the crossings, and keeping our people under the burden of malnutrition, and our sick and wounded, under the risk of death due to the lack of medicine and necessary treatment methods.”
The Democratic Front concluded: It is no longer possible to address all these disasters with press releases or statements. Rather, it has become extremely urgent to move from words to effective action on the ground, in a way that contributes to changing the difficult reality suffered by our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
